Does Alberta Health Care fund therapy?
An Albertan with a valid Alberta Health Care number is covered for
physical therapy treatments. Soft tissue injuries are eligible for
one assessment /2 visits. Surgery patients are eligible for one
assessment and six visits

YES
3. Is a prescription from a physician needed?
No
4. Is free parking available at your clinic?
Yes with wheelchair access.
5. Does your clinic accept third party insurer patients?
Yes. They are accepted on a case by case basis. Necessary contact is
made with the insurance company involved at the time of patient
assessment.
6. What is your clinic’s range of patient diagnoses?
Primary case load is hand injured and or arm injured. Hip, knee and
ankle injuries are also seen. Complex spinal patients are referred on.
7. Does the clinic provide splinting to hand injury patients?
Referral is made to our occupational therapist when an assessment deems
splinting is needed. An occupational therapist then deals directly with
the patient.
8. What are the experience levels of your staff?
Physical therapist has been working for 33 years with 25 years of focus
upon hand therapy. Support staff combined work experience is eight years
which includes physical therapy assistant work as well as office
management
